Desert locusts (schistocerca gregaria) are native to North Africa, Middle East and Indian subcontinents. A colorful and attractive insect used as a staple food in many reptiles diets. Ranging from 7mm to 60mm they can be used to feed a wide variety of animals from geckos to bearded dragons and even accepted by birds. With one of the highest nutritional values it makes locusts one of the very best feeder insects for your animals
